Assitant Coach Whitney Evans

Whitney is our newest coach. She has been coaching the Seals Team since March.  Another proud product of our Cottonwood Heights Aquatic Team - she swam for CHAT for over 7 years and Brighton High School Swim Team.  If it seems like a déjà vu moment when you see her, it is for two reasons.  One: she has also worked for Cottonwood Heights Recreation Center for over 6 years as a lifeguard, swimming instructor, and Site Supervisor.  Two:  She is Coach Bryn’s sister!  We really are a CHAT Family!  She obviously doesn’t like to talk about herself, (I have bugged her about this for a few months…..) so Bryn and I have had to put this together. 

Whitney is a highly motivated, extra high-energy perfectionist.   She is currently training to be a marathon runner.  Her sights are now set on a half-marathon to be run in the near future.  She loves boating, rock climbing, hiking, spending time with friends and family and COACHING.  She is currently finishing her degree at the “U” (GO UTES!) which means one of our other coaches is continuing to be outnumbered in the Cougar category…… sorry Keri…L   Whitney is always smiling and positive.  She is definitely a great influence for everyone who has the privilege of having her in their day!
